Ballet is a discipline that focuses on developing poise, control, and strength in the dancer. Ballet classes and training provide a comprehensive workout for the body, strengthening muscles, improving posture, increasing flexibility and simply enjoying yourself.
Overall, ballet is a form of artistic expression that combines technical skill with grace and beauty, and it continues to be a beloved and cherished art form around the world.
The adult ballet class is a 45-minute class, predominately a traditional ballet barre to classical music. We then move away from the barre for a port de bra (movement of the arms), exercises to test our balance and strength. Finishing with a small jump to get the heart rate up and the endorphins flowing. You will leave feeling worked, lengthened, aware of muscles you never knew you had and enriched in your soul. This is a class that not only gives you beautiful muscle definition and core strength while enabling you to escape and switch off.

$32 per casual class
$320 per term (10 weeks) 5th February - 13th April

Frequently Asked Questions For Adult Ballet

You can wear your activewear or a ballet outfit which ever you feel most comfortable in. Flat Ballet shoes are recommended but socks are also ok.
Absolutely you can. The class progresses slowly and we take the time to nurture our newbies on their ballet journey.
